In the past, I tried to create an overview of my Hive assets once per month. I believe it's important to keep track not only of your hive power but also of all the other tokens and NFT's in the ecosystem. This was a very time consuming process, especially when like me, you have several accounts. For the last two years, I've stopped doing that and I concentrated only on two metrics, namely Hive Power and HBD.
A tool to keep track of your assets
Yesterday, I saw a tweet about a tool built by @reazuliqbal called Hive Portfolio. It sums up all your assets on hive, hive-engine within seconds. It even gives a value to your NFT's.
How to get started?
Go to Hive Portfolio and enter your Hive account or any Hive account of your choice.
You can add one or several accounts to the portfolio.
Check your assets
You can now switch to the Porfolio where you have two views. Either you can check your assets as a list where all the accounts you have entered before are combined.
Or you can see the net asset value per account.
The tool even gives you a value for your Splinterlands NFT's which is pretty neat. I believe that other NFT's are not taken into consideration however. Also I can't really say whether rented cards, delegated cards or land is included in this.
What assets are being considered ?
I'm not hundred percent sure about that but I believe that all Hive-Engine assets and Hive assets are included by the tool. What I find extraordinary is that the calculated assets not only comprehend what you have on your balance but also what you have staked, what you have in order books and in liquidity pools! I haven't seen any other tool that is able to do all that. It's also possible to „take“ some assets out of the equation if necessary.
A great tool to keep track of your journey
I believe that keeping track of our assets is a great way to stay motivated and measure our progress. In this respect, this tool is pretty amazing. It's also perfect for projects that own not one but a multitude of accounts. They can pull all the data from the different together to get a nice overview. You can then even save the results as a CSV file for later comparison.
The best part of it, is the time that is saved and the precision of the results. I'm really happy to have found this tool and I think that you will like it as well :-)
