Weekly Statistics For The $POB Token

in #hive-150329last year

Hello dear Hivers,

I found a solution for the struggle with @spaminator.
You may remember, that he accused me of spamming and plagiarism with my reports.
I described it in detail here.
Conclusion:

  • I will continue creating token reports.
  • For the ALIVE-Token I will take the rewards from the upvotes and give them to @anobel who donates them to needy people.
  • For all other tokens I will donate them to Hive-Fund.

The last point is a compromise, and I am still not really happy with that. Yes, I have automated my work to 80%, but it is still some work. And why shouldn't I get some rewards for my self-scripted programs?
At least some people want to see my reports.

What do you think? Is creating (automated) reports plagiarism?
Or do you think my reports are spam and should be stopped? (I am not talking about tagging. This is another topic that I want to discuss with you later.)

Please leave a comment to give me a feeling of what you think about it.

So, here are the:

Thanks for the mention, after spending weeks studying this project I concluded that it has great potential. Best wishes for success for this project. Greetings!

I have taken interest in #POB for a few months and it is one of the tokens I track as part of my weekly Hump Day Chart Day series.

For the most part, I see value in the data you present. I appreciate the effort and talent you have displayed and I would like to tap into that talent but with a different focus. I took a quick peek at the link re:spaminator but I need more time to review and digest. Seriously, how do you define spam and compare it to quality posting. Some people share many posting about getting closer to what often appears as an arbitrary target for staking hive and other tokens. The effort can generate lots of rewards from these postings. I struggle with what some people call quality content and what some call spamming. I see many disconnects within Hive communities when it comes to reward system performance, bot clickers and human clickers. A lot of judgement call with no clear documentation around best practices for using Hive technology.

In my charts, I keep it as simple as possible. I am looking for a change in direction, a measure of momentum and a relationship of actual trade versus perception of value coming from token/business ownership. Knowing which account buys/sell what/when is necessary supporting data in a decision process to buy, hold or sell a token.

The comparison to other tokens doesn't offer much for me. What question is it answering?

I hope my feedback is helpful. I will make a note to return and I may have some questions for you. Your data retrieval is beneficial. I do a lot of manual checks/tracking on tokens so I see much potential in automating some tasks. Tasks that are part of a defined purpose and strategy.

Thank you! It engages me to go on!
