The original "host" tree is just one then this Parasitic kind of plant which is the Balite starting as a small root then Grows insanely wild, augmenting all over the host tree until the original tree dies, the Balite tree takes possession and dominion of the once giant tree.
That's why if you look at this tree, it looks like it's a combination of many trees but actually it's not.
Just like this tree below. The Balite roots are starting to take possession of this big fig tree. You see its roots growing wildly, usually they start at the bottom then growing upwards until completely it kills the original tree. Probably after ten years this Balite plant have taken over this huge fig tree. Such an interesting plant, really. Reminds me of the knights and kings, taking possession of kingdoms.
Very interesting these parasiting plants. Funny how these two manage to live in harmony.
