Hello everyone, I'm Segun Olaniyi. A medical doctor by profession currently practicing as a medical officer.
I joined the hive platform about a month ago with the username @bbjmed. My interest and some involvement with cryptocurrency drew my attention to the hive community. Thanks to @jaydr who introduced me to the platform. He has also been very helpful since then.

MY IDEA ABOUT THE INITIATIVE
I've been exploring this platform since my first day here and I realize it gets deeper every time. I mostly get exausted with not knowing the best way and the right place to post my contents. I've been doing my research daily but I know there's still much more to learn. I encounter various new terminologies daily and the hive platform seems very complex at times. I've genuinely concluded that being established here may be challenging if no proper guidance from the forerunners and experienced users. Also, there are lots of unanswered questions about the extent of engagement and benefits attached to it. Meeting and working together with other newbies will ensure smooth transitional growth from very healthy relationships and competitions. I'm more than convinced that being a part of this initiative will go a long way to practically help me with these challenges
I know that being a success at any endeavour revolves round having the right set of people and tutors. People who lift one up and facilitate good achievements. I've met some great people on this platform who are testimonies of this initiative as well. It is very glaring that they've achieved consistency and stable growth. They've been established. All thanks to the training involved with this initiative.
I believe this platform will help me with every possible knowledge and strategy needed to be great here on hive.
MY CURRENT REPUTATION AND HP
As at now, I have 8HP with a reputation of 45. Being consistent had been challenging due to my job but I'm working actively on balancing my time well.
WHAT TO EXPECT OF MY BLOG
Being a medical doctor, posting medical related write-ups should be expected. this will usually be with how it is associated with social life . Having been involved with cryptocurrency before joining the hive platform, I'll also be posting write ups about cryptocurrency and some finances. Being a game lover, I was excited to know there are play to earn games on hive block chain. I'm still exploring the available games and I'll soon be making posts about my gaming experiences on hive. living as a family man has made me cherish the importance and value of life, family and relationships which I'll also be writing on. Sports, especially football is also a concept I've been engaging with on the platform
CONCLUSION
I'm really excited to apply and i hope my application is successful. I'm looking forward to having a great and memorable experience in the program and meeting like mind new-bies.
