Contest Over-Huge Winnings Announced!!! (OVER 120 HIVE Worth-at posting)

It takes a lot to run a contest. I have to read everyone's entry...but it is rewarding! Not just because you get some coinage that actually has some value (I suggest keeping it, but it's yours, so do as you wish)...but it is rewarding because we have so many creative people who spend precious time coming up with interesting plots and storylines. They all had one thing that tied them together...

I am so happy to announce the winners of my contest, sponsored by @psyberx. This is what they did...they had to finish the story that started this way:

We've been living in this house for a few years. Nothing would have really prepared me for what was about to happen. Sure, they told us that if a disaster ever hit that we'd just have to hide in our basement and put on gas masks...that everything would blow over quickly. That's not exactly how it happenend.

I was sweeping the floor in my kitchen, occasionally glancing out the kitchen window to catch glimpses of the green hillsides and to enjoy the singing of the birds nearby. With a ponytail and whispies falling at my cheeks, my three little children were playing in the living room. It was at this moment, while I was leaning against my broom with a sun-splashed warmth coating my dress and apron, that I saw a flash of light. Almost immediately there was a plume of green and purple smoke shooting up with an orange tinged halo near the origin of the flash.

"TO THE BASEMENT!!! NOW!!!"

Wow, This is a great group of writers. I'm so happy to win a prize and I'm even more happy to see that LVL got distributed to so many cool story writers. In fact as I was watching the video and reading the story I got more interested in what was going on in Psyberx and bought my first starter kit. It seems like land is going to be very scarce in the Psyberx world. Scarce enough to fight for it.
