Our biggest struggle as human beings is to project ourselves as something that society has deemed admirable or likable instead of being honest.” – Matthew Shultz
No matter how you choose to see it, society has a big influence on the choices we make, what is considered a good choice and what isn't.
To some, the reality is what everyone approves of, what everyone is reading, watching, and doing without much thought on the outcome. Many are merely following the 7 billion-plus-eyed man to wherever the path leads.
The system has been rigged, and over the years each choice made based on the society's view about what's admirable, acceptable and justifiable all lead to dead ends.
There's a difference between solving your problems and letting someone else do it for you. There's a fine line between showing up and, “trying” to show up to your problems.
Doing and achieving what we honestly desire should be everyone's thing, not who's got the most admiration, clicks, or cheese than your thing.
Society isn't the problem, but those shaping society to fit their selfish realities and fantasies. What we project ourselves to be is one thing that we should decide on without trying to see what everyone is doing, instead do your own thing, be a creator, a producer and less of an emotional consumer who is still bombarded with ads grenades.
Some people project themselves to be slaves to the system thinking they are mere shevil servants created to serve until their days are over. You can confirm that with the retirement age limit issue, the society is currently facing. Who wants to spend his childhood and adult-earned money only at an old-aged high school reunion?
Just as we all know that things aren't always what they are, this cage is disguised as immunity and protection.
However, we have times when the slaves, those who can see the cage in the first place, make attempts to plan a jailbreak which is usually successful but takes a lot of time used in the plan and think.
In times of such events, only a few get to make it out alive. We have people who still struggle to step out of their open cages today.
Some people know the truth about what's going on and how the world is bending and buying individual thinkers' minds to be a pawn in their chess game.
It's why influencers, actors and musicians, after being bought to bend their sleepy-minded fans, find themselves struggling to break free from the shackles and chains of societal norms they've worn over the years.
Many are living their life according to a script written by the social leaders of today.
The hope of having thoughts of our own is out of reach. Originality is now about to be written off the script especially now that we have AI to make decisions based on what's acceptable and what's not.
Critical thinking is not one of many reasons anyone would accept the societal norms of today.
Let's be honest with ourselves, politics has been a total joke, even to people who find themselves elected into office.
When the few chants “The system is not working,” society is silent.
Instead, it exaggerates and manipulates opinions on never-ending debates and topics mostly around sex, race, religion, politics and other hashtags that seems to get the best clicks today.
I don’t have a solution, neither do I think the system is not working nor do I think the system needs to work any better. But what I do know is if we stop conforming, and start questioning ourselves, and our society honestly… maybe then, we can arrive at something or nothing.
Engage with society's lies, deceit and truth, or find freedom in projecting your soul past society's dramas and biased framework.
