Love/
What is its essence?
It is a fragrance of undivided presence/
Love/
What is its essence?
It is humility shone in willingness to offer service/
Love, what is love?
It is simple, yet difficult to give, and terrifying to receive/
But, when it is truly afforded, it is given with no reservation/
That it can cause grief, when not received or accepted/
Love, when it is genuine it wills in any way/
It overlooks boundaries and physical imperfections/
It endeavours to endear itself to the beloved in any way/
Lest you are unaware, real love hurts, if it does not, it is not love/
The greatest manifestation of love is the cross of salvation/
It was borne with love, courage, pain and sorrow/
Fear too, but not a crippling dread/
This all was executed in assuarance of a lasting tomorrow/
Love, what is it?
It is a choice It is passion, pain, friendship, freedom, compromise, tenderness, anger, sacrifice, hope; and more/
Never fear to love and love unconditionally.
