There is always a great moment to start doing things differently. I struggled with mathematics in highschool and I admit that I was never a fan of finance or economics as no one taught me when I was a child what’s the thing with money.
But at this time of my life I am beginning to be interested in how the mindset of someone who is good with money works and overall I look at being financially wise as a science: it can be taught and learned at any point in life.
I believe in incremental exposure to an element until you can unlearn the old things and embrace novelty. I love to do reviews about books connected to education, psychology, pedagogy and personal development and I feel that introducing a new element in my reading structure will enhance my perspective. I am talking about making reviews of financial related magazines, like Forbes for example.
I am starting this with the october issue of Forbes Magazine, the romanian edition.
My ultimate favourite was the article about the 30 people under the age of 30 that have succeeded in their craft, be it sports, IT or dentistry. I felt proud to read these stories and they inspired me to share what I have discovered about a millionaire mindset with you. I also really like the innovative approach of Veolia when it comes to energy, the story behind Leon, the first Made in Romania DMU (Diesel Motor Unit) train and the concept of build-to-rent buildings.
I have done a long review of the magazine and talked about my favourite topics on my Youtube channel. Enjoy!
