Christmas in Gaza - Palestine

ربما يمثل الكريسماس مناسبه خاصة للمسيحيين وهناك دعاة من المتطرفين من الاديان الاخرى بألا نحتفل بهذه المناسبة.

Perhaps Christmas represents a special occasion for Christians, and there are advocates of extremists from other religions not to celebrate this occasion.

لكن عن نفسي احاول ان اجد اي مناسبه جميله للاحتفال بها بغض النظر عن بعدها الديني.

But for myself, I try to find any beautiful occasion to celebrate it, regardless of its religious dimension.

احببت هنا ان اشارككم بعض الصور التي التقطها في سنوات مختلفه لهذا الحدث منها مع اولادي تولاي واسر ومنها مع ابناء اخواني ومنها مع بعض الاصدقاء.

Here I would like to share with you some of the photos I took in different years for this occasion , Some of them are with my two children Tolay and aser, some are with nephews and nieces , and some are with some friends.

معظم الناس في هذا الوقت هنا في غزة عندما يجدون سانتا كلوز ويتسابقون لالتقاط الصور معه او مع شجرة الميلاد ..

Most of the people at this time here in Gaza when they find Santa Clause and they run to take pictures with him or with the Christmas tree..

هي دعوه محبة الآخرين بغض عن النظر عن انتمائهم الديني.

It is an calling for love others regardless of religious affiliation

If only my people would want to know more about this and learn that there were other great side of Gaza, you and your people.

I understand the hardship you endure at this time.
But it makes me even more sad to see your situation are being use to gain popularity and money by some bad preacher here.

Some hardline preachers even banned moslem to even just say merry christmas, or even use any christmas related ornament. Not even santa hat.

I will try to show this aspect of our lives without trying to take sympathy from our situation.

Yes, these preachers are present, perhaps in all Arab countries, and they have a great reputation for using these bad methods that try to increase religious fanaticism.

that bad kind of preachers are always found in any religions (from my perspective) or at least a person with bad intentions manage to gain power, influence and money by spreading religious fanaticism.

You are really fulfilling your promise that you show us things in Gaza other than war. I really love to see the undiscovered side of Gaza and it helps we with my mental growth.

Yes my friend aĺl what I do before I discover hive community in my social media to show the positive side of our life here .
We are not killing machine and some people show that's in media. Yes we suffered from war but there many good times I like to share it. Cause the other side all of you have seen many times in media so I don't need it's necessary to try get empathy from this situation .
