INTRODUCTION:
PRESEARCH is an open and decentralized search engine that through the PRESEARCH Browser Extension supports Brave, Chrome and Firefox browsers. The Browser Extension allows for searching privately without the necessity of sharing personal data and also connects a user not only to the PRESEARCH search engine but also to an additional 80 resources.
DISCUSSION:
By searching and/or engaging specific sponsored content, the user is rewarded for using the service by receiving PRESEARCH native tokens (PRE). But don't plan on earning let's say 100 PRE and expect to be able to withdraw them. In order to commence a valid withdrawal of PRE from the system, you must initially possess more than 1000 PRE tokens and supply a valid ERC20 compatible wallet address. However, before the tokens may be withdrawn (or otherwise utilized) the tokens must be verified and deemed eligible for withdrawal.
PRESEARCH recognizes that its incentive program is potentially subject to fraud and abuse by the more nefarious user. If fraud or abuse is found, the nefarious user's account may be terminated and any token rewards earned by said user forfeited, not to mention to subject the nefarious user to a potential prosecution for the fraud perpetrated.
PRESEARCH defines abuse of it's incentive program "as intentionally attempting to earn additional rewards that you would not earn under regular use" (https://www.presearch.org/terms). Examples of this abuse include using multiple accounts to skirt account limits, or using 'bots' to earn the user's rewards. PRESEARCH employs an automated system to assess whether a user is abusing the system through an ongoing analysis of users searching behaviors.
Based on this analysis, each user is assigned a 'PRE level' between 0 and 10 which determines the amount that may be withdrawn from the system. Corresponding to the 'PRE level' is the percentage of PRE Reward Tokens available for withdrawal, appropriately called 'Eligible Tokens'. The percentage of Reward Tokens is as follows:
Level 10, 9, and 8 - 100%
Level 7 - 70%
Level 6 - 60%
Level 5 - 50%
Level 4 - 40%
Level 3 - 30 %
Level 2 - 20%
Level 1 - 10%; and
Level 0 - 0% (account suspended).
PRESEARCH requires that all withdrawals are done in batches of 1000 PRE Tokens due to the high Ethereum gas costs. So let's assume you are pegged by PRESEARCH at a Level 5 'PRE level' and want to withdraw the required 1000 PRE. Under this scenario you will be required to earn 2000 PRE due to the 50% limitation associated with Level 5 to meet the 1000 token threshold. Therefore, saying you need 1000 Tokens to withdraw is somewhat of a misnomer users need to be aware of (unless they are Levels 8-10). Withdrawals of 1000 PRE are limited to once every 90 days.
When a user makes a withdrawal request, the request must then be approved by a project administrator who may block the withdrawal due to additional malicious activity or other error. It should be noted that PRESEARCH attempts to approve all valid withdrawal requests within 3 business days. Should a user's withdrawal request be denied at this stage, notification to the user is accomplished by on-site message and the user is directed to contact support for further information.
CONCLUSION:
While the PRESEARCH withdrawal system is not as easy as doing a few searches, earning a few PRE, and pressing a withdrawal button for the tokens to appear in your wallet, nonetheless, the system as shown above is not that complicated if the user pays attention to the withdrawal parameters. So if you are into PRESEARCH as your preferred search engine, go out and earn and move lots of PRE tokens into your wallets.
