A look at what the world has become today and we’d admit something is fundamentally wrong with us. The world has become a time ticking bomb and everyone consciously or unconsciously is waiting for it to go off.
From the days of our ancestors, to this present generation, a lot of civilization has occurred, improvement on the way we live our lives and it’s like we are doing better for ourselves. Just a century ago, nobody would have been able believe the level of technology we have around now and it seems the world is on a better train, heading toward a better path.
Day by day, we keep creating new things, inventions, discoveries, and it’s like we are going to be here for a long while. It’s like our soul cravings can’t stop us from desiring new feelings, new inventions, new experience.
Our problem is our insatiable soul yearning for satisfaction from thoughts, desires, emotions and feelings.
In the beginning, according to the Bible, God created us in his own image and since he is the beginning and the end, he created us with an everlasting soul.
………and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7
This is a statement from the Word of God and it shows the intention of the creator that he has given us an archetype of His soul and now we don’t know how to use it in a better place.
The world is a dangerous place as humans are insatiable, everyday series of thoughts goes on in our head, desires, willpower for different things and also imagination.
We just had the outburst of AI and we don’t even know what the next big thing might be. yet we aren’t satisfied.
We aren’t satisfied because our soul is suppose to be an everlasting thing. So we wake up everyday with yearning souls, searching endlessly and earnestly for something to cure our unsatisfactory living. The latest fashion trends, news flash, latest iPhone, new knowledge, another discovery and they come in droves and still yet, we aren’t satisfied and we may never be.
If we are going to get a satisfied soul, we would need to turn to the creator for help, since he made us in his own image, he has also written to us a purpose, a template of how we should live our life and we can only access this information if we turn to him.
That’s on individualistic level, when we turn to him for help, he initiate in us, His will.
Doing His will is actually recalibrating ourselves to the original plan and purpose of God for our life before the fall. That’s the only way we can have fulfillment and happiness, satisfaction of soul.
