You're probably wondering why I haven't reported on Uganda for a long time.
One reason is that we hardly get any donations and what money we do have we are already putting away for the school fees for the P7 class so that they can graduate this year.
Emmanuel is alive and well under the circumstances.
Our main problem at the moment is that Bosco doesn't have a cell phone. It fell into the lake and unfortunately it is so deep that it couldn't be taken out.
Cell phones are expensive in Uganda and some are fake.
It would be no problem to buy one in Germany, but it is not allowed to send the batteries and this is also being checked.
They have to be sent separately, which is very expensive.
So at the moment we are still looking for the best solution....
Ihr wundert euch bestimmt schon darüber, dass ich schon lange nichts mehr über Uganda berichtet habe.
Zum einen liegt es daran, dass wir kaum Spenden bekommen und das Geld, was wir haben, legen wir schon weg für das Schulgeld der P7-Klasse, damit sie auch dieses Jahr ihren Abschluß machen können.
Emmanuel lebt und es geht ihm den Umständen entsprechend gut.
Unser Hauptproblem im Moment ist, dass Bosco kein Handy hat. Es ist in den See gefallen und dieser ist leider so tief, dass man es nicht rausholen konnte.
In Uganda sind Handys teuer und manche sind fake.
Es wäre kein Problem, eins in Deutschland zu kaufen, aber es ist nicht erlaubt, die Akkus zu versenden und das wird auch überprüft.
Diese müssen extra versendet werden, was sehr teuer ist.
Wir suchen also im Moment noch nach der besten Lösung....
