My grandma Halyna left some chinaware. She left whole sets and some spare plates, cups and bowls I love. My favourites are a beautiful burgundy colour or in earth shades. But I am very fond of this big platter at the centre of the picture and the black and whitish sugar pot. I read "white" and said to myself: "platters, cups, dishes, saucers; have them."
Hers was the tablecloth, too.
Of course, some of the cups and the stoneware piece are mine. The more the merrier. And to me, this is about family.
