Today is National Thank God it's Monday Day! This is a surprising one as everyone hates Mondays, especially those who have a regular job and they hate it. Monday means another crazy week starts and all the stress and struggle that comes with it.

Thank God It’s Monday Day, celebrated every first Monday in January, is all about rewiring our minds to have a positive attitude about the most hated day of the week. A Monday can represent new opportunities, new beginnings, or simply a brand new chance, because you don’t just like your job, but you also intend to gun for that promotion and live your full potential. On National Thank God It’s Monday Day, seize the day with all your personal energy. It’s not just the first day of the week, it’s the first day of the rest of our lives. Source
Monday fear can be powerful and can ruin your Sunday as well, if you hate your job and don't know how to deal with your emotions and fear. This challenge means well, however, if you can't change people's attitude and actions that make you hate your job, I don't know what you can do. Pretending that everything is fine can work for a few minutes, but not longer.
Long time ago I had a boss who was into brainwashing everyone in a way so you don't see how unjust and exploitative he was. This may have worked with a couple of newcomers, but not with me. So no matter how hard you want to pretend that everything is fine, some things you just can't ignore. And if you can't change things, most likely it's better to change your job, move on and get a better one.
Today is the first Monday of the year, but it's also a holiday, so unless you're a first responder or work in a supermarket, you must be free.
So, do you hate Mondays?
Today is also National Buffet Day
National Buffet Day is about hosting or attending a buffet of epic proportions—enjoy a table spread with enough food to keep you full for a whole day, and interesting enough to make eating all day fun and exciting! source

I'm not against buffets, on the contrary. Being around a good buffet can offer you a lot of good opportunities, but I'm not sure why this day is celebrated on the second day of the year. Most of us already had a good party on New Year's Eve, so having a buffet of epic proportions is less likely to happen, especially if you want to lose wight or just want a healthier lifestyle.
Could you have a buffet after New Year's Eve?
