Every day I read about CBDC being tested in some nation in Europe. And some are even taking it to the apps and the forex soon. So in year 2025 and 2026 we are going to see some really tough things that are likely to make us see the damage to the decentralization.

Why so? Because a lot of things are slowly centralized.

For example,govt and the bankers now accepting ethereum and bitcoin makes it accept the centralization if the fiat conversion becomes local. And then people would rather buy it from bank than owning the wallet.

Problem is we assume everyone around us to follow the same pattern.

CBDC does everything that crypto can do. It can send money from one person to another. It can be used online. It can be used in forex places. And it can even get out of your way and let you use the way you wanted it too. So the cash's restriction and ATM slavery is gone here. And average people just want that. They are tired of cash and the ATM and they want to get rid of it.

So the CBDC is being used for the cash alternative these days. And the crypto is meant to do better as the time goes on it would get adopted in the apps too. So the CBDC intends to stay with the crypto in same wallet in upcoming times. Slowly it would remove the decentralized mindset with the ability to be more accessible. That is pretty much the case here.

Mindset of the average people is also something we have to watch out. I know many people who don't know how to use mobile. And they will perish in next 10 or so years. But as the years pass, they would also make it harder for us to adopt to the CBDC because a lot of them are used to cash and the ATM world. In short, centralized world slowly takes over due to those who are not tech savvy.

Decentralization is another utopia which only works assuming entire world is tech savvy which it is not. And it can't be that easy either. Some will remain challenged in near future too. So you have to think of that possibility and they would force the world to become more easier. And they would demand better UX and UI for sending money.

In grand scheme of things only tech savvy people care for the decentralization. And average people are still out there with the cash and ATMs. And they don't want to waste their life learning tech so they tend to make the entire world bend on knees and accept them to go slow.

In short this makes CBDC inevitable. You can't make this world decentralized.
