I was told by many on how the Nostr is a good social network. I literally ignored because when I was active on the LEO. I was noticing how harder it was to exchange the lightning network sats on the binance. Like you would have to hold a lot of sats to transfer to the binance.
And another worst part was converting the sats to the HIVE. Which is till the point there was tool made by brianoflondon. He worked on it and released. But turns out the tool was there but I was not hoarding or collecting the lightning zaps lately.
So I tried the nostr network. I signed up and for that I made use of the alby. Which is one of those networks which are not easy to use. Like I have to register keep those public keys and then also have the account attached to the nostr. Now this was not easy.
There are plenty of extensions and the sites that you would find on the nostr. And overall it would also bring back data same on entire network. Very fast and also there seems to be no lag while nostr data and the transactions are watched over, which is what I can show you with the lightning network.
My view was that the way nostr works and how the lightning network shows you the payments is good. Assuming you want to build portfolio of those collects sats and spend more time around such community. I find it really hard to be everywhere with the nostr. It becomes harder to collect from one place too.
Nostr has decent feature that every social media has. Like posting the audio, videos, images and also get to tip other creators. But it has issues with limited donors and support of the tips is random.
In grand scheme I feel that we have to plan with the Nostr and also have to consider the lightning network for the side income or say side tips to be honest.
