If we start looking around, we see a lot of squares, but I decided to choose a picture I made in my photo studio.
These are little chocolates from my favorite brand. Of course it's from Belgium!
They have a box with a selection of different types of chocolates. For the setup I used a dark carton and I added some cacao powder.
Now about the chocolates.
Neuhaus is one of best brands of Belgian chocolate. Neuhaus is the inventor of the Belgian praline. It's quite a funny story.
Jean Neuhaus was a pharmacist in 1857. He covered the medicines with a fine layer of chocolate to cover the taste. His grandson made the first praline as we know today in 1912. His wife created the package (ballotin) to protect the pralines.
Neuhaus uses 100% sustainably sourced cacao, and the production is still hand labour and made in Belgium.
Neuhaus is Royal Warrant Holder, this is a privilege and honour, selected by the King and Queen of Belgium.
If you ever have the change to taste them" GO FOR IT!
Yes, they're expensive. But once in a while I treat myself on this delicacy. Knowing that they only use natural flavors and colors, and that each praline is still handmade makes it worth!
There are four basic food groups: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, and chocolate truffles.
