So here is the flower of a sponge guard. I took this photo yesterday morning, when my son and I went out for our short walk. I saw this flower blooming beautifully in the vacant lot in our neighborhood.
The flowers has small holes, but it's still pretty. I think those holes was made by moths or insects who also eats nectar's.
I've been seeing this plant awhile ago but it's still don't have flowers, and I also thought that this is just a wild grass bearing some wild flowers, but I learn from my neighbor that this is sponge guard😅. So this flower will soon become vegetable.
I found it beautiful, most specially it's strong colour which is yellow like the sun.
Here we can saw one moth on top of the other flower. It was busy eating the flowers nectar, so I got a chance to take one photo I actually wanted to capture more but when my son came it immediately fly.
Then at around past three o'clock yesterday afternoon, we cross again from where this plant was located, and I saw that the flowers turned crumpled. So interesting, maybe they also have time to bloom and time to sleep.😅
