Whatever you think has everything to do with YOUR attitude. While attitude is important, your point of view is also extremely important.
The way we see things are very important in life. Remember, the way we see things are our opinions. Often, we have to look at things differently to understand someone else better.
What if you were to discover that most of the things in life you believe, is only because it is the way YOU look at things.
Most of us will say that the sun rises and the sun sets, but it doesn't actually happen right?
The sun doesn't move. The earth turns and gives you the illusion that the sun moves.
Some people might even say that the earth is flat, but it isn’t, right? If you stand on the moon, you will see that the earth is actually round.
It just depends on where you stand.
It is extremely important to look at someone else's point of view. Even though you might not agree, or have your own way to see something, it will avoid conflict if you try and see the same thing from their point of view.
They might be completely wrong or perhaps they are right, but it will give you a better understanding of the way they think. Perhaps this will even change your mind about your own view.
Self-absorption in all its forms kills empathy, let alone compassion.
