The POBPhotocontest! Tranquility

Hello POB'ers!

What a nice subject this weeks POB contest is! I suffered from burn-out two times now, and it seems that I am a hard learner! I really need more tranquility in my live! Even if I am doing what I love to do the most, photographing, I need to remind myself that I need to take it easy!

That is why I love to do long exposure photography so much! Shutter speeds of 2 minutes forces you to take it easy!
But I discovered that shutter speeds around 1/16 and 0'3 seconds, give a very nice texture of the water! It looks like the water is flowing in those pictures! And that is what I think is tranquility!

Like in this frame, it's the Lighthouse of La Coubre on the west coast of France! I think this is really tranquility! Nobody on the beach and waves rolling in calmly!

The water has pulled back more in this fram! The reflection in the wet sand is perfect!

Part of an old WW2 bunker also forms a good object for sunset and ling exposure pictures!

These two pictures are exposures of 30 seconds and 50 seconds!
At this moment the sun was already down about an hour! so blue hour was almost over! Here the mosquitoes were harassing me and I could'n focus to god on my photography! Time to head back to my van!
