After taking down Moose and Dillon, I got the quest to get to Santa Monica through the militarized zone but first I decided to get into the beach police station so I slayed a lot of police zombies but I didn't get the key so I gave up and I decided to get into the quarantine zone. That's the militarized zone with high barracks and there were some zombies walking around the beach. I decided to run to the quarantine zone without fighting any zombie as I already fought a lot of them and I was kind of tired. But as soon as I reached the gate of the quarantine zone which was actually locked, some zombies noticed me and ran to me.
