Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog for the Aprilininleo initiative. Today's topic is quite interesting, and with no further delay, let's dive into the topic of today's initiative. There is a saying that a good community or nation will always have the qualities of a good leader and citizens. There Is no doubt that the third world countries are doing incredibly better than the south world countries and although they have their own dark side which is becoming visible today, they still need to be commended for the innovation and change that they brought and made possible for their countries to become a super power nation.

It's no news from this side of the world . Many of us who come from this side all know the country is filled with lions and thieves that called themselves leaders. The political system in Nigeria is a gang of war as the election that took place last year proved that is only the politician with the highest thug and money will be able to win the election and I am afraid with what happened in last year election It's going to be a norm in the forthcoming elections because other politicians with ambitions to the presidency office will try to incorporate what happened in the last election to their advantage and it could cause chaos.

There are a lot of things going wrong from my community to the general country, and they have been complained a lot by the general public but still with promises made each election these problems still don't change and get worse. There are a couple of things that need to get right before the country can move from its current state because it's far behind even other neighboring countries are light years away which is quite embarrassing and we are being called the giant of Africa but still can't figure out little things. The first thing that I think is important to provide a stable balance in the country is:

** Unity Between People No Matter Religion or Tribe**

The last election that happened in Nigeria proved one thing that few people have been complaining about which is that there is no unity, tribalism and religion has eaten up people to the point that they don't care if the individual for the office of the presidency is credible and qualified for the job, but as long as the individual is from the same tribe or practice the same religion it is okay for the individual to take the office and they will blindly cast their vote and even support when other tribes are being oppressed if they don't support the same candidates they backed up. This has to change, and people need to think beyond religion and tribe to support the truth, which will ensure unity among people.

Stable PowerSupply

This has been a huge problem in not just my community but around the country. It sad that in 2024 Nigeria is still struggling to supply 24 hours of power supply to the general public but other neighboring countries are already far past that and are generating stable 24 hours power supply for its citizens. The government each year released statement on the amount of money spent or will be spent on electricity but still nothing has improved in that sector and it has been a strain on businesses that need adequate power supply to function their operations and this has forced some of this business to either crash down on utilize petrol or diesel which comes at the cost of this businesses increase the price of their products which I can't blame them for doing so because if their is adequate power supply to function their prices won't be expensive.

Good Road Network

The roads in my community are nowhere near good and this has caused the increase in price of goods because most of the roads are bad and it has cost a lot of trucks to get damaged on the road. The business owner will have to look into the cost of repairing the truck, plus the part of cars and trucks are expensive and with all these challenges there will be a need to increase the price of goods to cover for this expense because the business owner won't want to acquire loss. If the roads are good and well maintained, it will be easier for cars and businesses that deal mostly in transportation to move with ease and save a lot of time.

Conclusion

Three issues mentioned above will be key in making my community and the general country better for everyone. Things have to change, and that change has to start with we the individuals because if we are on the right track and select a response leader, issues like this will be resolved. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by, and have a good day.

Good road network and electricity are top priorities for most part of Nigeria including my own town. Nigeria government need to look into all these challenges that bedevilled our nation.

With elections happening next month in my country these are topics that worry me, other than the palpable problems there is corruption, Panama is probably king at it, for the first time in my live I have no clue for who to vote for because for starters there are 8 candidates one more corrupt than the other, my point is corruption, there has to be a way to clean the house first and then move onto real life problems but for this people need to be united and that's so hard to achieve makes me sad 😢 hope your people find a way to unite 💪

Corruption is now the new normal in politics which is sad and should not be because the office of the presidency is a public services. I just hope you all have a smooth and successful election. I hope too my people can come together soon.

I totally agree on what you mentioned. When these things are fixed, Nigeria will become a great nation.

Thanks for sharing

Tribalism and Religion ise hat hisolding this country back brother. Once we are able to get past it I promise you this country will be filled with reasonable ppeople who will do the right thing.

Nigeria my country! All it take to make this country better is the right set of leathers. Funny enough it also impossible to have a normal election, but that is the only was we can solve our problem. God help Nigeria...

The truth is we Nigerians are the ones shooting ourselves with the gun. We saw a candidate with clean track rrecord and was ready to get this country working, but many were blinded with tribalism and look at how it has gotten the country.

You are absolutely right my friend. I just pray we come to reality before it's too late

I did read about the electricity problems in your country. Hope it will be solved sooner. It's tough without stable power supply.
