Fluffy Pink Rice Cakes-POBPhotocontest

When you think of pink, what comes to your mind? Pink flowers? Pink dress or clothes? Too, when I saw the post of @friendlymoose for this week's POB Photo contest, the first thing that came to my mind is pink flowers.

So, I thought, I'd look for some. I did find some, but somehow, I thought, flowers will be the most common subject for this week. Then again, I could be wrong.

Last Wednesday, my sister-in-law was making something... Puto! or rice cakes! She made it for their relatives who would be arriving that they in their hometown.

It's not the first time she made them. It was her business for quite some time now. However, it was for the first time that her rice cakes were so fluffy! Moreover, they were all PINK!

So I hurriedly grabbed my phone and took a couple of quick shots. At the time, she was already in a hurry because they will be leaving in a few minutes to deliver the goods!

I think I should have asked for some for my photoshoot. Well, I had one, but I could not resist it and gobbled it right away.
