“My competitors are creating One God”

In an interesting interview Mark Zuckerberg CIO of META made harsh criticisms of some of his competitors in the field of Artificial Intelligence, according to him some in the technology industry are trying to create a single true AI, which he considers a wrong approach , it's almost as if they think they're creating a God or something like that and that's not what we're doing at META. He pointed out, "I don't think that's how it happens," Zuckerberg told YouTuber Kane Sutter.
Zuckerberg argues that an AI God, a single super intelligence capable of solving all problems, would not be practical. This is because people's needs and interests are varied, which would require several AIs specialized in different tasks. He criticized closed AI platforms, highlighting the benefits of open source AIs.
Sam Altman, CEO of Open Ai, believes that Agi, Artificial General Intelligence, is close and is willing to invest heavily to achieve it. Google Deep Mind, for its part, predicts a 50% probability of achieving Agi by 2028, in contrast to skeptics like Grady. IBM's Book doubts AGI will ever become a reality, citing a history of over-optimism in the computing field.
