I was so glad to reunite with my orange cat once again. The train was on time which was very unusual and the sky was still very bright. In summer and rainy seasons, the sun began to set around 7 pm. which meant that I could still enjoy the sunset during my ride to the house. Kwan would be in hiding as soon as she heard the engine entering the front yard. After the driver had left, Kwan would emerge to investigate the intruder to her territory.
Kwan enjoyed grounding on a rock.
As soon as she saw me, Kwan would cry out loudly in ‘oouuu’ sounds and repeatedly complaining about my absence. She felt very bad being left alone during the night and she missed all the extra treats I would give her during the day. My gardener only feed my cat dry food once or twice a day, depending on whether Joan dropped by that day. I was glad Joan dropped by on the third day to see us. Kwan was over joyed and tried to sit next to her brother. Joan was quite cold towards Kwan though he kept her licked his head.
These cats seemed to have become a bit older and they put on extra weights just like a middle age person. However, they were still very flexible and agile. They should be about six years old thus year. So, soon they would be ten years old. Kwan still behaved like a baby to me as she’s so obedient and allowed me to handle her in any way I liked. I had to feed her medicine with a syringe and she just accepted that without resistance. Joan wouldn’t be so easy with forced feeding medicine and he would resisted as much as he could.
At night I found them being frightened by the aggressive stray cat once again. I found orange cats perching on the railing on the second floor hoping the invading cat wouldn’t dare coming near my door. I had to scold that nasty cat and made loud noises to frighten him away. My cats thought I was their hero and came running into my room. I hoped that one day they would learn to defend themselves and make threatening noises to frighten that cat away.
I had to keep bringing Kwan to the garden so that she could be stimulated to do her toilet. After that falling accident two months ago, Kwan couldn’t control her kidney movements or muscles while she was sleeping. So she was leaking water whenever she was sleeping. I had to try to help her empty her kidneys while she was awake. This has created quite a problem for me as I had to put tissue paper around where Kwan was sleeping. I hoped she would gradually regained her muscle control.
Joan came to visit for a few days as it was rainy almost everyday and the neighbour was away to another town. Joan came for his meals and a warm place to sleep.
Life with orange cats has always been full of fun and affection. I was glad that orange cats came into my life. Bring more introvert and abstract minded, these cats have managed to ground me in reality and the need to be in the present so that I could face my immediate problems and focus my energy properly. I pray and hope that my orange cats would be always very happy, healthy and have a long life.
Wishing you peace, good health and prosperity.
Stay strong and cheerful.
