There is something thrilling about setting a target and working towards achieving it.
For some, it's something that starts with doubtful thoughts about their ability to achieve their goals, but others can kick it off with a strengthened resolve. I've also heard that 'getting started is the hardest part, but make no mistake about this.
There is no easy part to anything.
That's pretty much what I want to be reminding myself as I plan to actively publish stuff on here and also interact with people across varieties of communities.
I've been doing that for a long time and I can tell you that people tend towards being high spirited into the first phase of a particular thing only to become demotivated in the long run.

First on my list is the 31 days writing streak challenge brought to our notice in a post, The First Day of the New Year and 31 Day Challenge. Are You In?, published by @shadowspub.
Those that are always looking out for cool stuff on here would already know that there is a monthly badge awarded by @hivebuzz to anyone that publishes quality content throughout each month. I didn't know about this until I heard it 3 or 4 weeks ago during PYPT (Pimp Your Post Thursday). Shadowspub brought more clarity about this in her post.
It would be nice to see how far I will go in this streak. Hehe.
2. #Januarystreak
Here is another one. A January writing streak.
I woke up to a post, Who's Up For A January Writing Streak? published by @dragosroua and I knew from the first glance that I want to be part of this.
It's not a contest per se. You don't have to submit an 'entry' anywhere. Just publish quality content daily and use #Januarystreak as one of your tags. Hehe.
