The weekend is here again and I hope you are having an enjoyable one.
It's the new round of the #pobphotocontest and I warmly welcome you to my blog again. The topic for this new round is "purple" and I have this beautiful image of a purple flower to share with you.
Few days ago, I had visited one of the florist shops in my city to have a look around. This shop is cited at the heart of the city, George's street beside the Aba power distribution company, a very busy location which makes it easy for anyone to stop by and make a purchase or inquiries. So when I got there, the owner was around so I told him why I came and asked if he would allow it to which he agreed. He took me around to see the flowers and equally mentioned some of their names and it was in the process that I saw this beauty of a flower called "Purple trumpet", so enchanting. 🥰
Two petals already fell off so I picked them up and captured.
You can see that it actually has a trumpet like shaped petals, lol.
Looking up this evergreen vine, these features about it popped up;
Purple trumpet flower belongs to the family called Datura
It survives in the heat, and bloom during spring time till the summer.
For those who love to have humming birds and butterflies around their house, purple trumpet is the perfect flower to plant as it attracts these creatures.
Finally, maintaining purple trumpet flower is so easy and perfect for use on fences, landscapes, trellises and garden arbors.
So if you are looking for a flower that will add that purple touch to your beautiful garden, purple trumpet flower is a perfect fit.
Well I couldn't resist having a selfie with the petal, lol.
.
Thanks for your visit, I hope you like the flower? Please let me know.
Still the #threadsaddict 😂
