Hi Hivers,

This is my entry to the @friendlymoose -POBphotocontest photo contest about food. My photo is not recent, I must say, but it is very meaningful to me because of how hard I worked and dedicated myself to the success of this project, and that's why I chose it for this post ❤️.

The photo was taken with my Nokia cell phone on September 11, 2021, on the eve of the celebration of the tenth World Arepa Day. Those of you who know me on Hive know that I love arepa ❤️, it is one of my favorite foods, in fact I wrote a book of 50 arepa recipes available in my Amazon store ☺️.

On September 11 together with my friend Ana Limón (Venezuelan illustrator known on Instagram as @soyanalimon) we organized an activity called La Arepa toma Buenos Aires (the arepa takes Buenos Aires). The goal was to visit different sites of the city by giving smiles shaped as an arepa to passersby. I had the wonderful task of making the arepas; I got up at 5:30 am to start my work, and we prepared more than 150. I share with you more photos below.
