Yesterday while I was on the street working and attending to personal matters, I tried to find attractive, colorful or unusual cars to photograph in order to participate in this weekly photo contest, which this time has cars as its theme.
I did not want to use as a model my own car, which although it has been a faithful companion all these years, unfortunately is a little dirty and with some small but visible scars, product of time.
I was not able to achieve my goal of photographing some exotic or unusual automobile, maybe I made the mistake of demanding too much of myself, or simply, its owners do not usually use it during the day but only during the evenings or weekends, or worse, there are not many left in the city due to the high maintenance costs.
However, I would not return home empty-handed, so I share with you some of the findings I made yesterday in my photographic hunt.
As I have described in previous publications, I used the editing tools offered by Picsart and Snapseed applications to intervene the original image to my satisfaction.
Ayer mientras me encontraba en la calle trabajando y atendiendo asuntos personales, procuré encontrar carros atractivos, coloridos o inusuales para fotografiar y poder participar en este concurso semanal de fotografía, que en esta oportunidad tiene como temática los carros.
No quise usar como modelo mi propio carro, el cual aunque ha sido un fiel compañero todos estos años, lamentablemente se encontra un poco sucio y con algunas pequeñas, pero visibles cicatrices, producto del tiempo.
No logré alcanzar mi objetivo de fotografiar algún ejemplar automotriz exótico o poco común, tal vez cometí el error de exigirme demasiado a mí mismo, o simplemente, sus propietarios no suelen usarlo durante el día sinó durante las noches o fines de semana, o peor aún, ya no queden muchos en la ciudad por los altos costos de mantenimiento.
Sin embargo, no regresaría a casa con las manos vacías, así que les comparto parte de los hallazgos que realicé ayer en mi cacería fotográfica.
Tal como lo he descrito en publicaciones anteriores, usé las herramientas de edición que ofrecen las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed para intervenir las imágenes originales a mi entera satisfacción.
