Well hello, stranger
These past few weeks we have had strange weather. One day it would be hot and the next day the street would flood and become a river. This however did leave us with beautiful clouds. Naturally, we took advantage of the sunny weather after a few days spent indoors and in the rain. On Sunday we decided to catch a bit of sun seeing as the following week would once again be cloudy and full of rain. We found a spot under the trees and made ourselves comfortable on the ground. It was nice and warm out, but a cool breeze was present and made it quite enjoyable.
I'll be sharing a few pictures of the clouds seeing as I absolutely love clouds and it was a fun little photography session with nature.
Something about the world looks different from down here. It's more peaceful and all my problems seem so small as if they are carried away with the clouds to their next stop. I can see the trees waving at me, telling me everything will be fine tomorrow and that life is always full of happiness and colour. This photo was @technicalside favourite in the collection.
I used to love laying outside as a kind just to watch the clouds. Of course, my mom would turn me into a little ghost with sunscreen seeing as a was a little redhead. These days there is not enough time to spend hours staring into the white and blue emptiness. But when the opportunity makes itself known, one has to embrace it! I did not turn myself into a ghost tho... I hate sunscreen for it always leaves me feeling sticky and it angers my eczema. I'll rather put on a jacket than sunscreen.
Fluffy clouds like this reminded me of marshmallow fluff! I don't know how many people watched the movie Hop, but "It's too much Marsh and not enough Mallow!!". I think this cloud had too much Mallow and not enough Marsh...
It did look a bit more structured after moving for a while, but it was still not enough Marsh... I think I would still enjoy it!
I don't know what was up with this one, but he had a splat of some sort on him. I thought there might be something on my camera but it turned out to be the cloud itself. Kinda weird but it was still cool.
A little portal into the sky above us makes for magical moments. I wonder if birds even realise what the clouds look like from down below.
Can you see the little white dot? That was a tiny cloud that tried to compete with all the fluff around it. I had to take his photo as well, I mean he did take the time to show up.
Enjoying the view from down here is different from taking a walk outside, it's more peaceful and you can almost see nature move and being alive.
One more for the road! I tried to include the red flowers from one of the trees. It gives a nice pop of colour between all the blue, green and white. It is also my favourite one in the collection. I think I need to spend more time outside these next few weeks, seeing as summer is moving on. I want to spend more time with the clouds and the stars!
