It's a new week and a fresh start, it's necessary to reflect on our goals, achievement and aspirations while asking ourselves what we are up to in this new born week, imagine if all plans are to work in accordance with our desires and wishes, this world that we are dwelling in will be something fantastic away from its present situation. I'm made to understand the say that goes "that man proposes and God disposes" that is to say that our plans may not unfold or work as we planned, and that's why our plans are not well achieved as we wished as humyan.
Today being Sunday, in the homily that was given in the Lord's house, the priest reminded and made the church congregation to understand and know that God can and will do man's wishes and desires if only he (man) asked from God the right thing at the right time, that's if we asked in align with God's desire for us, not asking for something that would not be impactful and meaningful to us as his children. He went further off saying it's not welcome able to rejoice at a loss of a fellow brother, friends and colleagues be it as it may we should always show concern when we need calls.
Some people in this world are fun of improvising a fellow colleague's challenges with a story that will suit them when a fellow is in depression, pains and in agony. This calls for empathy towards our fellow man. When we say we love someone, the love should showcase our attitude towards them both In our actions. If man abides in the golden rules of love, which can be found in the Bible( 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7) it says that man love is not boastful, love is not prideful, it does not rejoice at a brother failure, love is comfort, patient and believe all things. I'm made to understand that if a man claims to have the fortune of love and gift of love and he does not practice the above mentioned features, he is said to be like a seedlings planted on rocky ground without indepth soil nutrients and lack growth growing supplements. the man is believed to be like a noisy cymbals with substance in the presence of God and man.
The Bible further explained what genuine love is all about, a well said and practiced love will always be understanding passionate and patient, showing compassion and comfort, etc.
I pray we have a blissful week ahead as we have started.
