Man Vs Woman managing the home

Since the time I have reached home, all I have been doing is fixing up things at home. When the home is occupied by 2 young boys, one can imagine how the state of the place can be. When I arrived, I was greeted with quite a few damaged things at home. Washing Machine is not working, 1 of the doors was broken, some of the kitchen equipment's are not functioning. It was annoying but that's how it is all the time. I had to order one new washing machine on an urgent basis and then get other things also fixed up. Most of it is done now and it feels like set. My Son and helper both of them in our absence do things their way, which is fine but then they end up breaking and spoiling things which upsets me. What amuses me is that at my home sometimes the most unthinkable things can also break and I also wonder myself how does that happens, thanx to both of them.....hehehe.

I will not say all man, but yes this has been my observance that man is never very careful with managing things at home. Now when I am in Mumbai, and I return back to Muscat, then first 2 days I will have to spend again clearing up that home, because hubby will create his own mess in my absence. They can never keep things in their place. Once thing removed never goes back into its place again, it is just left outside. This is my ongoing story shuffling between the 2 homes. As much as I like to take care of my place there are times when I find it exhausting, especially when I have other things to do.

The new washing machine has already arrived, this was the most urgent thing to be done. I went in for a very basic model because both of these boys are careless users. The old one was not even that old. It was around 8 years old and these things last for a very long time but here it was not even possible to get it repaired.

I am obsessed with keeping things in place and both my hubby and son are obsessed with messing around things. Sometimes they do it purposely to annoy me.
People assume that a life of a housewife is simple and easy being at home, but there are times when I find it more tedious and complicated. There are so many things to do round the clock. Laundry, Cooking, Cleaning, all the time something or the other and for someone like me who has OCD, I am all the time on toes.

Anyways, with all of this cleaning and fixing up things, I also managed to spend some time with my friends' late evenings. We have a Angel hosting ceremony going on at my neighbor's home and we all catch up for some time in the evening and spend some time in meditation and then all the ladies talk and fun. Today we have a morning prayer and meditation session again. This is all what I miss terribly back in Muscat, my clan and like-minded people and doing things which really brings joy to me. Life is very good there also but there are somethings which I miss a lot. Anyways it's all part and parcel of life and goes on.

One more thing, I have not been able to respond on all my comments since the last few days and I would like to apologies for that. I will be doing it by today or tomorrow. It's just been very hectic and I need some peaceful time to do these things.

I am one who also likes to ensure that things are kept in the right place all the time. It can get annoying these things are not in the right place which could make the house very untidy.

Well, that is why it is mostly said that the man fends for the family and the woman takes care of the home because it is mostly women who know how to take care of the home.
Also, there are still some men who are al a and careful with the things they do but the numbers is not up to those who are careless

The home is a continuous place of queasers, and more children are complicated, so we must have in our home only the things we really need, because if we have extra things, we become slaves to those things.

I've just the same!! While I am doing my best to keep home clean and comfortable, my 2 boys (a little and a grown up one) do the opposite;)
My hubby is too creative person to pay attention at what surrounds him, and if he washes his plates, or makes his bed, but it's so annoying for me! There can be no order and clean home if one is cleaning, and others just are making it dirty again:)

I was fed up with it, and I am trying to teach my boy to keep order by themselves.
and you know, my little one, remembers it faster;)))

I can totally understand you with the same story. When you have 2 boys it means you have 2 children to manage for life...hehe. Viraf is neither creative nor organized, he is just too lazy to do things by himself :-)

No no not blaming....I am just talking about the general behavior's :-)
I got in exchange offer and some other promotions were also going on so it costed me 14,400/-, a very good deal.

Some things happen that don't go our way. Those young kids always want to do something different which is the difference between our thinking and their thinking. These are the moments that we get to see something new.
