my photo entry
ripe manila palms
another ripe fruit
It's green when unripe
Good afternoon, everyone.
It's raining every day here in the Philippines now, and I haven't gone out since our Recognition Day last week. It's not fun going out in the rain because you get wet and do not enjoy the things you want to do. This morning, the sun was still out, and it was a good day until after 12 noon. It started pouring with loud thunderstorms. Before the rain started when I woke up, I went to our patio to see our three stray kitties. They stay there and they love to play around. They even broke my mom's plants. Then I saw some fruits of our palms fall to the ground. These palms look like coconuts but are smaller and have wider leaves. My mom says it's called Manila Palm. So the fruits are bitter, but if you soak them in water overnight and remove the bitter taste, they taste like coconut. The fruits look green, but when they are ripe, they look red, and they start to harden. Here are some of the photos I took and am sharing as my entry to @friendlymoose's POB Photography Contest: Fruit.
That's all for now and thank you for reading. Have a great day to all of you.
Xoxo,
