Lechosa en Venezuela y Papaya aca en Colombia, así se le llama a esta fruta! Que cuando está verde se torna en ese color y cuando está madura se torna en color anaranjado claro. Es una fruta en forma ovalada o también pueden ser redondas. Así la conozco y cuando está bien madura es muy sabrosa con azúcar o al menos así la comía yo en casa.

Recuerdo que a mi abuela le gustaba mucho sembrar y cosechar esta fruta, tenemos un patio gigante allá en Venezuela y mi abuela tiene sembrado de todo un poco pero la Lechosa no puede faltar en esa cosecha y siempre, pues ella hace catalinas y el relleno se las catalinas es dulce de lechosa que ella misma siembra, cosecha, prepara y hace el dulce. 🫶🏼
I remember that my grandmother really liked to plant and harvest this fruit, we have a giant patio there in Venezuela and my grandmother has planted a little bit of everything but the Lechosa cannot be missing in that harvest and always, because she makes catalinas and the filling is Las Catalinas is a dulce de leche that she herself sows, harvests, prepares and makes the sweet. 🫶🏼
