Yesterday, one of my childhood friends penned down how she was not doing good emotionally, because her relationship didn’t work out. The painful part is she was still in love with him whereas he was no longer interested!
Personally I don’t know the dynamics of their relationship but I know my friend, she is a very gentle and sweet person that wears her emotions on her sleeves. If she’s happy every body knows, same thing if she’s sad.
And the fact that she still wanted this relationship to go on but her partner broke up with her is something that can be so hard for anyone.
However, we must understand that certain things happen for a reason regardless of how we feel and this better equips us for the future…
How To Deal With Heartbeat 101
1. Do the things you love,
Heartbreak is something that is so difficult to handle, no matter how organized you are it will still humble you because, it is draining both emotionally and physically. With images being played in your head over and over again. Use this time to focus all doing the things you love, be it crafts, outdoor games, binging on your favorite series or just reading a book.
2. Spend Time with people you love,
No matter how hard it is don’t stay by yourself for too long. Spend time with your family and friends those who care about you and genuinely supports you. This people will always be there when you need them.
3. Don’t Be Afraid To Share What You Are going Through
Be real with your emotions, write your thoughts and feelings in a journal, talk to your closest friends and if you need to see a therapist too, do so without any form of guilt. In order to deal with those negative emotions once and for all.
4. Get Yourself A Special Gift
Yes! You heard me right, Get yourself something. It could be a jewelry, dress, book, perfume or even a flower. Something that speaks about self-love and awareness. Something that reminds you how special or how beautiful you are. Something you just get for yourself by yourself.
5. Pray For Healing
Heartbreak, however we may see it! Is a very hard and low place to be, most people become so depressed that they loose their focus, zeal and passion for life don’t let yourself get into all that. Pray for healing, trust God to help you overcome this challenge and he will definitely come through for you.
6. Give Time Some Time
Like the saying goes “time heals us all” give time some time and you’ll be fine in no time. Take each day one step at a time and you will see how far you’ve come.
Stay true to yourself, don’t let this challenge make you bitter with yourself and others. Be gentle with yourself because you are delicate and special, treat others with kindness let them see your light because that’s who you are!
Sending you all my love ❤️✨
