Friend @friendlymoose, I had the good fortune to visit an exhibition in the city of Buenos Aires, of several artists in honor of Mickey Mouse. From that visit, I selected these images that, among all, were the ones I considered most appropriate for what this week's contest calls for.
- Amigo @friendlymoose, he tenido la fortuna de visitar una exposición en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, de varios artistas en honor a Mickey Mouse. De dicha visita, seleccioné estas imágenes que, entre todas, fueron las que consideré más apropiada para lo que exige el concurso de esta semana.
It is a work, which belongs to the artist Johanna Wilhelm, whose title is: “Fantasies of a shadow, 2024”. Work made using the "pepercut" technique, which consists of creating pieces or figures, cutting silhouettes on paper, superimposing some layers on others.
Among the elements to apply this technique are sharp scissors and/or a knife and paper or cardboard.
- Es una obra, que pertenece a la artista Johanna Wilhelm, cuyo título es: "Fantasías de una sombra, 2024". Obra realizada usando la técnica pepercut, que consiste en crear piezas o figuras, recortando siluetas en papel, superponiendo unas capas sobre otras.
Entre los elementos para aplicar esta técnica, están las tijeras bien afiladas y/o un cuchillo y papel o cartulina.
It is something that, in fact, is not easy. Much less figures like this giant lamp, which through the shadow it casts, from the central bulb, has the particularity of telling a story. This time it has been with moving images of Mickey Mouse.
- Es algo que, de hecho, no es sencillo. Mucho menos figuras como esta lámpara gigante, que a través de la sombra que proyecta, desde el bombillo central, tiene la particularidad de contar una historia. En esta oportunidad ha sido con imágenes en movimiento de Mickey Mouse.
