Before going to rest I share with you a little of the word of God. Today I share with you the passage from 1 Corinthians 10:21-23 where the issue of participation in ceremonies or rituals that involve worship of other gods is addressed, which in the historical context of Paul's time could refer to pagan practices.
The passage says like this:
You cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of demons; you cannot participate in the table of the Lord, and in the table of demons. Or will we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than him? Everything is lawful for me, but not everything is convenient; everything is lawful for me, but not everything builds.

Paul is warning the Corinthians that they cannot simultaneously participate in the Lord's Supper and in pagan rituals involving the worship of demons, as this would be incompatible and offensive to God.
By mentioning that "everything is lawful for me, but not everything is expedient," Paul recognizes that Christians have freedom in Christ, but this freedom must be exercised with discernment and responsibility. Not all actions are beneficial or uplifting, even if they are technically permitted. Therefore, believers must consider how their actions will affect their testimony, their fellowship with God, and their relationship with other believers.
In short, Paul is urging believers to be aware of the spiritual and moral consequences of their choices, avoiding engaging in practices that contradict their commitment to Christ and that could harm their relationship with God and other believers.

Antes de ir a descansar les comparto un poco de la palabra de Dios. Hoy les comparto el pasaje de 1 Corintios 10:21-23 donde se aborda el tema de la participación en ceremonias o rituales que implican adoración a otros dioses, lo que en el contexto histórico de la época de Pablo podría referirse a prácticas paganas.
El pasaje dice así :
No podéis beber la copa del Señor, y la copa de los demonios; no podéis participar de la mesa del Señor, y de la mesa de los demonios. ¿O provocaremos a celos al Señor? ¿Somos más fuertes que él? Todo me es lícito, pero no todo conviene;todo me es lícito, pero no todo edifica.

Pablo está advirtiendo a los corintios que no pueden simultáneamente participar en la cena del Señor y en rituales paganos que implican la adoración de demonios, ya que esto sería incompatible y ofensivo para Dios.
