Water and Android
In the world of future, in mechanical halls,
There lived Android with strong metal heart.
He was functional, cold and dry,
He knew nothing about feelings and spring rains.
But oonce rainy day came to city,
When endless streams of Water pour from sky.
Android went out of his home to street
And met with spring rain face to face.

Rain poured down on Android, drops drummed on metal,
But Android was indifferent, he did not feel fear.
He did not understand what moisture and dampness are,
For him, Water was just temporary hindrance.
But with every drop something changed inside,
Android imperceptibly began to feel something new.
He realized that Water brings renewal,
He felt like part of vast endless universe.
Android suddenly began to feel beauty,
Something unknown awakened in his program.
He raised his hand up to catch raindrop
And felt joy, like small child.
Now Android has become big lover of rain,
He went outside every time it rained.
Android realized that he has place for feelings,
And Water helped him discover this light inside.
Only one thing Water didn't tell to Android, just forgot to mention:
Water is detrimental to any metal, even stainless steel.
Over time, Android turned to dust and crumbled in rusty flakes.
He wanted to become alive and he got it, including the consequences.
The original text was written by me in Russian. I haven't studied English systematically, so translation may not be ideal. The main work was done by Google Translate, I just corrected obvious absurdities, where I noticed them and where I did not confuse them with brilliant insights.
