The life in villages of Southeast Asia is very close to the rice fields. Since rice is the staple food of the people in the region. Planting rice in the fields is an activity that has been going on for generations. Indeed, not all villages have rice fields, but every district has some villages with rice fields. This morning, I took some photos in a village in Bukit district of the Bener Meriah, Gayo Highlands. Looks like the paddy has just been planted in the field. They are growing.
There is a hut where farmers take shelter after work. The life here is so close to nature with the fresh air away from the busy life in the cities. Some villagers own horses, and this morning I found a horse was having his breakfast.
A bit cloudy today, but the sun shine brightly through the clouds.
