In the last few weeks I've seen Whoopie Goldberg, Duane Johnson aka, The Rock, and Awkwafina, again, come under fire by cancel culture. Whoopie, from Sister Act and The View, was cancelled because of recent comments about the Holocaust. The Rock is being cancelled for defending Joe Rogan.
Articles are now coming out about his past comments about trans people. Many of them when he was in his WWE role.
Awkwafina is under fire, again, about her use of a "blaccent."
Whoopie, The Rock, and Awkwafina are all minorities. Whoopie is a black female, The Rock is half black/Samoan, and Awkwafina is an Asian female. So, you would think they all have statuses that are immune to being cancelled. However, cancel culture is so out of control that no one is immune to it.
The Psychologist Jordan Peterson prophicised that critical race theory, intersectionality, and all the other social justice theories will devour us. That's exactly what we're seeing.
Where ever you are on the victim scale you are an oppressor to someone else. And, your oppressor status is all that's needed to be cancelled.
For example, a hardworking white female that has spent years trying to break the glass ceiling in her career might think she's immune to being cancelled. Unfortunately for her she's worked hard enough to earn more than $100,000 a year and is white. Because of her income and skin color she's called a Karen, and told to apologize for her privilege, despite having to fight against a glass ceiling.
There's no way this ends well. The masses are so entrenched in their own individual identity's that they think they can troll, cancel, and protest their way to a better world. Little do they know, they're paving their own path to the gulag.
