On this Weekly Blog I would like to talk about my experience so far on Hive, I have been posting every day for the last 34 days and plan on continue, I have been learning from what I have been experimenting with and from constantly finding several post from other users how have been on Hive for the past five years, telling their experience how they started and their struggles at first, some of those post are on my first Weekly Vlog

There is one interesting post from
@slobberchops that I remember reading but lost the link, he made me the favor to find it for me, this is a great post from someone who started from zero and little by little understood how he could grow and interact with the users of the network until he made it, his content I find it very interesting and always brings content that makes you feel you are at the place he is exploring with his writing and photos of the place, here the link to his post about how he started and struggles at first.
@slobberchops Hive no votes no attention

Every single day I learn something new by just been on Hive, there are so many content creators writing on a daily bases and once you setup your feed its constantly supplying information of your interest.
Consistency and Details:
Those who are part of this network for the most part have goals they want to achieve, everyone wants to create an audience, create content that is of the interest of others and as your account grows you are compensated based on what other users feel the content is worth, but so far I have learn something that very recent
@bitcoinflood explains in one of this posts
"at first you don't blog or don't blog often .... instead first work on a few articles but mainly work on comments on others and general interaction to grow your following and build your reputation"

Its true, just by posting on Hive your account wont grow, at first I did some very small posts, wont say my content is the most interesting at the moment but I have been improving my design, format, the content I'm writing about and have been consistent through this time. What I been working on too is interacting with my feed, selecting authors and content of my interest, follow this authors, interact with upvoting and commenting on their posts, watching, reading, understanding their content, communicating what I like, what I think and giving my opinion based on their content, not necessarily waiting for and upvote back because it doesn't work that way, commenting also gets upvote depending if its quality, its not just spamming the comments, I also came up with a "signature" so authors can identify my comments and eventually pick their interest to look at my blog and see if my contest is of their interest. Everyone can read, upvote, downvote and comment any content they want, Hive is transparent for everyone so dont expect people to just read your blog and get a ton of upvotes from the first day, it could take months before you see substantial progress depending on how much effort you are putting into the network.
Because of the effort Im putting into my account Im starting to see my analytics go up in certain fields.
Author Rewards is all over the place but Curation Rewards and Account Growth is doing ok.
This are two metrics that are of my main interest at the moment, shows my consistency, effort, attention and detail I'm putting into every post, comment and reply I make, its also important to answer back replies to post or comments, that interaction is very important for me.
After a month on Hive there are a couple of things I can tell anyone who is on the same place I was on January 22.
- Its not easy, be there every day
- You have to interact with others
- Learn the basics and keep learning
This is the first time I have work so hard on content constantly, the reason why Im main reason I'm working on my account is because I see the potential, yes its not easy but at least you have users who have the disposition to take some interest on the different interactions you have with the network and depending on the effort and quality you may get rewarded, keep in mind this two things are based on each users opinion and that's totally fair, this is a decentralize censorship resistance network so everyone's opinion counts.
This are my results after 34 days, keep in mind I still have rewards pending for the next 7 days.
I don't know why the Total doesn't match with my account HP, I remember starting with 588 HP and at the moment of this post is 644 HP, that's 56 Hive more, at current price $0.463 its a total of $25.92 , at all time high of $3.41 would be $88.41, its not that much but consider it in percentage that's around 10% in one month.
If you are starting on Hive don't do it for the money, if you start with that mind set you wont make it, you will burn out and quit within a few days, do it because you want to grow your account and eventually rewards will start coming.
I cant say all this but I feel that for a new user like me, its a lot of things to learn and the information at least the basics is not in one place so I'm taking as a personal project collect all basic information, consult it with users that have more experience than me before I make it public online and then use it as a tool to bring it more users to Hive, this network is about 5 years old, this is just starting and the potential is huge with all the dapps that are coming up.
For the most part if you make it this far you figure out my schedule and plan.
- Daily post
- Meaningful, rational, quality comments
- Keep learning
- Attention to details
- Build Hive Startup Kit, guidelines
The last bullet point is something that I will take my time to build since as mention I will build it and use it to bring more users when I have the opportunity, crypto is a very sensitive topic in my country and people are still scare of it so I need something that makes sense and its easy to digest for new users.
On my schedule I will posting about the many topics of my interest, I still haven't figure out I want to make videos also because it may take longer than writing, each post takes me about two hours to create and commenting takes me probably an hour each day so Im investing time on Hive and I know its worth it, my following is growing, authors starting to answer my comments, meaning there is good progress.
For prosperity here screenshot of my account so far, Im starting to get other tokens like CINE, LEO, SPORTS Im staking and delegating, its very little so far but will time as far as this projects stay running they will add up, I still have no plans to sell anything Hive related for the next five years.
On the Hive network so far the token that I may start accumulating is LEO since I dont want to make my capital too thin and bee on too many projects at the same time.
After my first month I have to say this is something Im planing to keep working on every day, Im not putting my life savings into it, I will start buying more Hive once I have liquidity, right now I just because a CERO DEBT MAN, Im free of debt after almost three years so Im taking a break from spending and on April I will start buying Hive.
Thanks for everything
