in #hive-1503297 months ago

Good day hive friends, Another week for hunting photos.
This weeks theme is a good one, it allows us to look back on things that may have been forgotten or even set aside for a long time. This theme have many interpretation so it's very exciting to see what fellow participants has to offer.

Here is my entry, for this weeks theme.

This is a 5 Peso Bill, I was still a kid when they stopped printing this money and was removes from circulation. The one that we are using now is a coin.

This bill's face is the first President of the Philippine , Emilio Aguinaldo. At its back is a image of the declaration of independence of the Philippines.

I got this bill from my father, this money is really old since I almost don't remember when was the last time we used it.

According to Wikipedia.

This banknote was circulated until the demonetization of the New Design Series on January 3, 2018. Its printing was stopped in 1995 and was replaced by coins.

Here is a closer look.

This paper bills looks better than the coins that we are using now , good thing I have this to look back about the past.

And that's it for my entry, I hope you liked it.
If you found something old, please do join in the POBPhoto Contest.

Thanks again for dropping by, see you in the next one !

Hmm, it is good your father still have this 5 peso bill. With that 5 peso bill before in my elementary days we could but have or buy plenty of enough goods in 1970's.
