Lovely colours
Who doesn't love colours? I know I do! While living in Spain for several years now, I get reminded over and over again that these amazing colourful flowers we can enjoy here year round make me smile every single time I notice them. Even though our weather can get chilly or even cold, windy and wet during winter (not that often though), we are always greeted by the most amazing colourful flowers to cheer up our moods. Enough to make one smile even during some chillier temperatures.
I'm personally always lured to flowers when I see them, even if I only carry my phone, I can't leave an opportunity unused to not capture some flower's beauty. Especially because the light is usually great here so even a phone picture can give a great result.
Colourful POB photo contest
When @hetty-rowan told me about putting in an entry for this week's Proof of Brain photo contest as the theme is colourful, I didn't think about sharing a flower picture though. I often take them and have tons of them in my folders, most not used for content yet, but often they contain just one colour or a few max.
I knew right away that this was the right moment to find back the pictures of the light beam that we often see inside our home, presenting a super colourful rainbow on the floor or walls, depending on how the light enters the home.
Those colours!
I remember noticing this rainbow light beam inside the house for the first time and I was in awe. My first thought was to get my camera but then I remembered the battery was charging so instead, I used my phone camera to take these pictures because I didn't want the beam to disappear and not have a picture of it.
I took several pictures even though the floor could use a little vaccuum love that day, so pardon me for the dust and cat hairs in the pictures, lol. I don't want to edit the pictures so this is what you get.
Above you can see what I first noticed when I saw the beam.. I think the colours are so great..
I took several more pictures but eventually, I think this one below (and used as a header of this post) was the best one. Maybe you disagree, if so, let me know in the comments..
Cats and lights
It's often very funny to see cats react to the light beams that appear in the room, especially when my daughter wears her sweater covered with sequins, then the room turns into a discotheque and the cats go bananas. Really funny! They often start hunting beams of light appearing on the walls as they think it's some prey, lol.
