I Took A Week Out To Figure It Out

in #hive-1503293 years ago

Hello Hivers, it's been a week since I last made a post here on Hive & that is because I decided to take the time out to figure out what I'm doing & how I can plan myself better.

There're a handful of things at hand at the moment & I really want to make sure to keep a balance. And most especially be able to keep a healthy relationship with friends & family while at it.

I've been a really introverted person for the most part & I'm actively trying to work on that. One of my personal goals I'd set for myself this year 2022 is to put myself out there as much as possible, meet people & try to make as many new friends. I really don't want being occupied with alot of things ruin that. And yes, I believe Hive is a great place that encourages me to put myself & thoughts out there, meet alot of new people & make new friends.

After joining Hive in December, I was able to post rather consistently for a while but soon started experiencing alot of writers block. I found it really hard to figure out what to post about. Not like I had nothing to share but it became alittle difficult & boring articulating contents I had in mind.

Short story

Sometime last week, I made a draft for a post I found really interesting & was alot eager to share. I made the draft in my Samsung Note and when I wanted to copy it to Peakd for edit, I highlighted the text & mistakenly pressed & Paste instead of Copy & that erased the whole article, and there was no way to undo.

I felt really bad & couldn't seem to remake the post cause it took me hours to create & I just couldn't really remember in details all that I'd written. Life isn't fair, I know 😁.

...

I figured, blogging & even content creation in general isn't an easy task by any means and one of the ways to be able to be more productive about it is to have a niche.

Niching down to contents one is curious about, or love to consume seems to be really helpful when in comes to content creation. Here on Hive, finding a community with contents you find interesting & sticking to engaging there seem to be a healthy way to stay active engaging in the ecosystem.

Some of the Communities I find most interesting are:

During my time off though, I couldn't decide on a particular community to stick to. I decided for now, I'll keep posting whatever I felt good about making. Be it Chess, Art ( By the way, I'm working on a piece. Inspired by @gloriaolar), or about crypto, life, e.t.c. And I'm sure with time the niching down process with occur naturally.

Gladly, I also used this time to learn how to edit photos alittle with Canva and that's quite exciting for me as I feel it gives me the opportunity to better experience myself via photos.

I did alot of planning on how I can better structure my time so I can be more active on Hive & stay productive with my life in general.

So I'm back and I'm here & here to stay!

Thanks For Reading! Have a lovely new week!

Best regards.
