Hello to Proof of Brain community!
This is my first long post in year 2024. Even though this community has been established for quite some time by now but it's my first post here. Thankfully, I'm unknown and unpopular so not many people will read what I have to write hence I can be truthful as well as pour out to my heart's content. A while ago, there was an anime fair near the area where I'm staying and I really had a lot of fun stall hopping. Stumbling upon the anime fair was unexpected as I was initially there for lunch. Nevertheless, it was still a pleasant surprise.
As mentioned earlier in the micro blogging post, my best trait is deferred gratification. It had helped me tremendously over the years. Whenever there is a material good that I particularly like, I will wait until there is at least a 50 percent discount. If the item is still available in the size or color that I wanted, then it's meant to be. If otherwise, even better, I get to save money and space. My goal is to hoard less anyway. I found out that delayed gratification is like a type of muscle that can be trained over time. The older I get, the ability to resist temptation gets better.
Scammers ran out of ideas so they decided to leave me alone for the time-being. It's funny, the scammers thought they got away with their misdeeds but I already screen captured important information way before they manage to delete their posts to prove auto-vote abuse. For example, the ex-girlfriend used to be a deaf mute cum scammer. It is not surprising when he tried teaching me a lesson using similar method. However, it's unclear who might have the last laugh. One of my elder brother is dead anyway. Death threat means little to me. Also, I can easily get information about the PhD student she met way back in university. Most people are unaware that I have an elephant's memory. Shall I store their posts on HIVE again? People misleading potential victim with their unclear relationship status is annoying. I am totally aware of the difference between friends and friends with benefit.
Back to the anime fair bit, well, there were more than 30 stalls that day and a competition showcasing best dressed character as well as talent was held too. Many people were dressed in their favorite anime character. I kind of felt out of place but all is good in a peculiar way. It was a satisfying walk after a heavy lunch. We had South Korean lunch buffet. Bought a dress that I waited at least 4 months to drop to a 50 percent discounted price. Unsure whether is fortunate or unfortunate, they still have the dress in my size. A pleasant day indeed! I was very happy with my purchase.
All the amigurumi, hair clips, stickers, and etc. are so adorable. Although I was very tempted but decided against purchasing anything. I felt sorry for the store assistants but too bad for them. Better luck next time. I sincerely hope they achieve their sales target for that day!
Thanks for reading!
