No matter the perspective..

It really is a pity that the politicans occupying the highest places in the leading governments are accepting the inflation and are acting almost as resigned as ever to it - opposed to fighting and battling it. And it pisses me off to see just what grave levels of incompetence the leading people are showing.

And no, I am not speaking only about mr. Biden's frankly catastrophic rule of the USA since he took power, I am also speaking about the gross incompetence that the leading politicans of the EU are showing in regards with the conflict in Ukraine.

What we have now are a set of sanctions imposed on Russia by the leading world countries - and by leading, I mean pushed by the USA and embraced by the EU states - that was supposed to hinder and 'break' the Russian economy.

On the contrary though, it is the backbone of the European economic policies that have been put to the test - and a lot of them failed and are still failing miserably.

One litre of diesel at the moment of writing costs 199 Serbian Dinars (1,69 €), one litre of petrol at the moment of writing costs 177 Serbian Dinars (1,54 €).

Is this the new reality that we seemingly must accept? Paying 1,5 € for a litre of fuel on a minimum monthly wage of 400 €?

Horrendous. Cynical. Absolutely devoid of any logic. And yes, a lot of the stronger economies have been hit hard as well - but it is always the not-so-developed countries like the Balkan countries in this instance that will feel the crisis in full effect and will have to tackle the difficulties head-on.

So basically.. no matter the perspective you have for the war, be it your opinion to be pro-Russia or pro-Ukraine - if you happen to be living in an under-developed country in Europe, you are royally screwed.

Have a 'great' Saturday and weekend ahead lovely Ecency people. We will prevail no matter what the adversity is in front of us. Trust the process.. I guess :)

The scariest thing about the EU is the World Economic Forum (WEC).

This is absolutely true. It's probably just as true in similar regions on other continents as well.

It's also happening now. It could have taken place in 2014, or 2018, or 2026; instead, it's taking place now. Why is this? I can comment here, but you've seen how my comments get, and I don't want to kill the Resource Credits of the people reading such comments!

I'll just say that relationships exist between the people currently in positions of power (not necessarily heads of state or government) and their patrons (oligarchs, organizations, business partners, etc.). In these relationships, there are certain goals to which all parties involved are aligned. Some events needed to take place before others, and they agreed on that too.

Then along come people like "Orange Man Bad," and you saw for yourself the over-the-top overreaction they had to OMB. So if he was as bad as they claimed he was, how is the present situation better? It is not. Even people who supported Biden have voters' remorse, but what's done is done.

So now the club is back to its exclusive membership, but the people can see for themselves only in hindsight how good things were the last few years. He was a genuine threat to their way of life and their plans, which is why nearly everyone in Western-oriented corporate media had their hair on fire. So if they had their hair on fire during the OMB era, how is it better with the guy with constant brain freeze? It is not. And he's a welcome addition to the people you've noted.

As Alfred said to Bruce Wayne in The Dark Knight, some people just want to see the world burn. This is what we're facing now.

We know enough to say that these people want to bring about a new society in the world. For this to happen, the current order needs to be wiped away. What the new society will be like can't be better than what we've seen it could be like. Whatever this new society will be, it will be a nightmare for people like us.

some people indeed want to see the world burn. unfortunately, some of these people are currently in charge in the Oval Office. sadly for us. 2024 can't come soon enough - I really hope that the voters will punish these war mongers once and for all.

Unlike in previous times when the wrong person was in the Oval Office (Carter? Reagan? Clinton? Bush 43? Obama? Trump?) it is obvious to the people that what is taking place is deliberate. At least in other times when policy produced bad outcomes course corrections were made to limit the damage and to return to normal (whatever that was). Not only are course corections not being made, but those in power are doubling-down on bad policy. Even Trump-haters can see for themselves how they benefited from cheaper everything and more secure borders-- not that they want him to return, but they can't get rid of Biden quickly enough.

We're in a situation where the dollar itself-- USD-- is in jeopardy. It took a lot of "help" for USD to reach this point. If USD fails, it brings down everything connected with it. Effectively, this means everything. Some nations had the foresight to see this situation as far back as the 2000s, so they began their de-dollarization policies then to insulate themselves from the damage to be caused the day USD itself becomes a shitcoin and then a deadcoin.

The earliest we can expect any relief is January 2025, and that's if a non-Democrat wins election as president in November 2024. Although a Republican is more likely than a non-Democrat, Establishment Republicans have a tendency to go soft and gooey in their voting preferences as demonstrated in 2008 and 2012. So in theory we need to account for an Independent candidate. Either way, we may not get the relief we expected even then.

November 2024 is an eternity in political terms when today is 8 May 2022. More likely is voters voting out the Democrats in both houses of Congress to cause gridlock for the Biden Agenda. Even here, we're not guaranteed that the right Republicans get voted into Congress. We'll know for certain when certain legislative priorities become known (good or bad), and it may be too late by then.

No matter what happens, the best we can do is stack that crypto along with hard assets. That I can tell you.

great read! I totally agree with you - crypto continues to be the basics of a stable income nowadays.
