This is my contribution to #fungfriday by @ewkaw
hello friends! Meet me again @biancamaura!! This time I will show some very beautiful photos of coconut leaves to all my friends!
Still in the oil palm plantation, my favorite place, this time I was very happy with the coconut palm plantation hunt even though half of my body was dirty because the condition of the garden was full of puddles of rainwater which had just stopped. Several fire torches burning on the surface of the ground greeted me in the afternoon, this is the mushroom Hygrocybe umbilicata, unfortunately I have not found a clear explanation about this beauty Hygrocybe umbilicata is one of the guilty leaves of the coconut palm family Hygrophoraceae.Hygrocybe umbilicata or what we often call torch mushrooms grow in the winter/rainy season on the surface of the ground, this leaf grows in groups in areas that are not exposed to direct sunlight, this mushroom is one of the mushrooms that I am looking for in every hunt because this mushroom has a very beautiful color, the top surface of this mushroom's umbrella is bright red like a fire torch and the stuff is light orange, these two colors really give this mushroom its own uniqueness and attraction, it's not just that color Of course, the bottom of the umbrella/fin is bright white. The color of this mushroom's umbrella is like a flag. 🇮🇩🇮🇩 This mushroom has a small size, wait for the stem to be 1-2.5cm with a maximum umbrella width of 0.5cm.
Unfortunately, I rarely find this mushroom, only at certain times this mushroom will grow, what is unique is that I have never seen this mushroom growing in other areas, I always find mushrooms growing in this area.
