Greetings and saluations. I bet you didn't expect to see me narrating this week's FFF (Fabulous Fungi Finds). Pull up a seat my fellow fungi lover we have something that will scratch that itch.

Is it from our planet? I'm not sure. I've heard previous fungi stories about aliens visiting us many weeks ago. I wonder if that person is still fungi hunting like us all? They probably are, once you get a taste it's hard to stop.

Extreme close-up. Waaaaah. Excellent! We need to exercise the zoom often, you'll never know if you get some macro shots or a blurry mess. I'd rate this a C, passable and a little blurry. A for effort though 😀

This might be one of the barbecue cleaning bricks in disguise. The last time I used one it left so much debris on the grates. While doing a quick search I see they are not supposed to flake off like this.
I still prefer the wire brush but they tell me metal filings come off these. This I have not experienced before, pick your poison I suppose.

Looking upward to see nothing but fungi or maybe it's a sponge. I believe loofahs were discussed last week. They're like a high-end sponge. Don't forget that we love to grow on them too. They're so soft and inviting. Buy more loofahs please, we can always use a new exotic home in your shower.

Oh there's another one here. I believe this is a young one.

All nestled into the tree and protected from the elements. They are a natural umbrella by the looks of things.

Nice gills. They're coming in lovely. The bark on this tree almost looks like some form of mushroom too. I believe there was a posting many moons ago about the fungi wave. This made a splash haha
Thanks for reading and joining in on the fungi hunt. Until next time.
