Happy Friday Everyone...
Today I found some mushrooms on rotting trees, I found them after several days of heavy rain in the forest area right where I found them.
The rainy season makes them grow well on rotting trees and sometimes I find some of them drying on living trees. Of course, the mushrooms I found are not edible, and I don't know if they are poisonous or not, besides their beautiful appearance and color.
I found two different types of mushrooms in the same place, and I think I was lucky because they hadn't had time to dry out because of the sun. I found them hidden behind rotting tree bark, to photograph them I had to first turn the tree bark over so I could get a clear picture of them.
For the first one, I found Honey Mushroom, which is a mushroom from the Armillaria family, characterized by an umbrella or canopy that is shaped like an umbrella and usually they have a distinctive yellowish brown color. On the umbrella part, right in the middle, there is a kind of black scale-like pattern that spreads and this is a characteristic of this mushroom. It is said that this mushroom often damages plants, and I think that is necessary because they are natural decomposers.
However, in various conditions and places where they live, these Honey Mushrooms have slightly different characteristics from those I mentioned earlier, but they still maintain their typical color and pattern, namely brownish yellow.
This mushroom is poisonous, and it is not recommended to eat it. This mushroom lives in damp and slightly watery places such as in rotten and damp trees, on the surface of trees covered in grass, and even in bushes they can also be found as long as they have a host to live on. This mushroom is a mushroom that grows in groups, but in some places this mushroom can grow only one or two, depending on how humid and how wide its host is. Other factors such as animals and the conditions of sunlight it gets also affect the growth of this mushroom.
This mushroom has a wet and sticky texture when touched, and reportedly this mushroom can glow at night, but I haven't seen it directly.
I found them with different shapes and textures even though they were in the same place. I can conclude that they are young Honey Mushrooms that are just about to grow, and of course at times like this they will show an imperfect shape.
But the color and black scales on their canopy have proven that they are the same type of Honey Mushroom.
In addition, I also found mushrooms from the Boletellus family, this mushroom is a family of large mushrooms, but today I found them very small in size and I think they are just about to grow.
This mushroom has a strong pink base color, and is marked with spots on its umbrella and is usually covered with tufts of hair when they are mature. This mushroom is also the same as the previous mushroom, they will grow on the surface of rotten and damp bark. They will grow by filling the surface of the wood with whitish pink spots which are the spread of spores from this mushroom. This mushroom has a slightly bright colored body from their cap, and usually when they are small, they have a little white color on the underside of their cap.
I didn't find many photos of them, because only a few have grown like whole mushrooms while others are just red bumps around the surface of rotten wood.
This mushroom is also a poisonous mushroom and should not be consumed, consuming it will cause several health problems.
But no matter what, they are still plants that have beauty and uniqueness eye-pleasing beauty to whoever look on them.
