This is my entry for #FungiFriday initiated by @ewkaw
on the same day when I found the Lantana flower, I was a little bit surprised to find fungi or mushrooms in the heat of the dry season, as we all know that the mushrooms usually grow in humid and damp places. The last time we were in the rainy season, I failed to get as many mushroom photos to be shared here in the fungi Friday.
I thought that I needed to wait for another rainy season to be able to find mushrooms or fungi or mold, but it seems I was quite lucky on the day I was out for some small macro hunt because I have these shots that I will share today
This white mold is so tiny, and I almost missed them as my eyes were locked to try to find some insect, but then when I look down I saw this little cutie on the cut-down tree trunk.
We all know how important are the mushroom for the decomposition of organic matte, but finding them there in the dry season was amazing. Nature works in a very interesting way.
